Moca & Miami

This survey exhibition explored the parallel rise of MOCA and Miamis art community by presenting works by many of the Miami artists featured in the museums exhibitions from 1996-2005. In most instances, MCOA provided these artists with their first museum exhibition. Artists included: Kevin Arrow, Daniel Arsham, Hernan Bas, Bhakti Baxter, Jose Bedia, Natalia Benedetti, Pablo Cano, Robert Chambers, Cooper, William Cordova, Consuelo Castaneda, John Espinosa, Teresita Fernandez, Naomi Fisher, Dara Friedman, Lynne Gelfman, Adler Guerrier, Mark Handforth, Jason Hedges, Beatriz Monteavaro, Gean Moreno, Jorge Pantoja, Ali Prosch, Tao Rey, David Rohn and Francis Trombly.
